IGNITE. INSPIRE. CREATE!
We strive to create meaningful and enriching experiences for children by building fun yet challenging classes that will ignite their creativity and inspire them to embrace new ideas and endless possibilities.
WHO WE ARE
Creative Breaks is an enrichment day camp that offers week-long programs or single day classes for children ages 5 to 12 during school breaks. Our classes are designed to teach and enhance skills within specific subjects while providing a fun yet challenging learning experience. We encourage and nurture children's creativity, passions, natural talents, and abilities while focusing on enhancing their skills and abilities in teamwork, leadership, self-awareness, and problem-solving.
WHO WE SERVE
-
AGES 5-8
Campers within this group are beginning to learn the importance of teamwork, skill development, building gross motor and fine motor development, while learning self-confidence, good sportsmanship, and safety awareness. We design our programs to tailor to the development of each child and target age group.
-
AGES 9-12
Campers within this group are continuing to learn the importance of teamwork, enhancing gross and fine motor development, as well as skills involving tactics and strategy while continuing to display good sportsmanship and safety awareness. We design our programs to tailor to the development of each child and target age group.
WHERE WE ARE
As a “POP-UP” designed program, we offer enrichment classes over a short period of time at various locations in the Denver area that align with Denver Public Schools’ scheduled breaks. As we coordinate with Denver Public Schools, we will operate in the Central Park, Lowry and Park Hill neighborhood public schools. Once the exact locations of our upcoming camp sessions are confirmed, they will be posted here and all registered campers will be notified.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
We understand that entrusting someone to care for your children is a significant decision. With so many programs to choose from and so little time to decide which will be the right fit for your child and family, it’s important to know the right questions to ask. You can find answers to some of your questions, both anticipated and unexpected, in our Frequently Asked Questions section. However, if you prefer to ask your questions directly, please feel free to contact our program.
-
We will begin each morning with our camp kick off, so we ask that you arrive at camp with your child by 9AM and no later than 9:30AM for your child to get the most out of their first morning enrichment class. Each child will need to be signed in and signed out daily on our camp sign in and out form. If you need to drop off your child later than 9:30AM due to outside appointments or other matters, please send us a chat, text or email and we will make arrangements for your child within their camp class once they arrive. Pick up is at 12:00 noon for the morning half day program and 4:00 pm daily for the afternoon half day and the full day programs. For the safety of your camper(s), please plan to show a Photo ID at sign-out. We ask that you arrive on time to pick up your child at their designated time and no later than 12:30pm for the morning half day program or 4:15pm for the afternoon half day or full day programs. A late fee will be assessed for all campers not picked up by 4:15 P.M.
-
Please dress children appropriately according to the weather, along with dressing for activities such as athletic attire for sport activities and clothing that’s okay to get a little messy for arts & crafts. All clothing should be comfortable and children should be able to handle it themselves. Closed-toe shoes are required for all activities. All children are required to be potty trained in order to attend Creative Breaks Camps. However, we know that accidents will happen and clothes will get dirty, so please pack an extra change of clothes for your child daily.
-
Yes. Personal matters and appointments happen. We just ask that you notify the camp director at the beginning of the camp day to make arrangements with the camp staff.
-
Due to the nature of our programming, unfortunately we cannot extend your child’s day if they are in a half day program. All classes are separate programs with separate planned curriculum that would not accommodate a child not currently enrolled in the class.
-
Yes. If your child is joining us for lunch, we ask that you provide your child with a nutritious lunch, along with a morning snack and/or an afternoon snack, depending on your child’s time with us daily. In the event, your child needs a lunch, we will provide a lunch for your child for a fee. We will also have supplemental snacks in the event your child needs additional snacks. We ask that your child come to camp with a labeled water bottle that can be refilled at any point when needed while at camp.
