At Creative Breaks, we believe in the importance of play and encourage our campers to engage in various forms of it. Whether it's a game of soccer or building a Lego masterpiece, children's brains are hardwired to benefit from some form of play. Physical play helps children to build their muscles, bones, and physical skills, while constructive play fosters problem-solving abilities and spatial awareness. We strive to challenge our campers to use their imagination and creativity while participating in our programs that will continue to help them build a strong foundation for success in all facets of life.

OUR MISSION

In the realm of education, fostering children's creativity, passions, and natural talents is essential for their holistic development. By offering fun yet challenging classes, young learners are encouraged to explore their interests and abilities in a supportive environment. These classes not only aim to enhance their skills but also focus on important soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, self-awareness, and problem-solving.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We value our program, as well as the care and training that we provide to our campers. We provide fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities for the children in our care. These activities aid in the development of social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills of each child within our camp. We believe that each camper is unique and differs greatly in their interests, abilities and cultural backgrounds, and we believe that these differences should be respected. Each camper deserves to have a program that works for their own rate of development as each child matures physically, mentally, emotionally and socially at their own rate. We believe that all campers should be given the opportunity to develop confidence in themselves so they can grow as distinct individuals.

To create a safe and fun environment for all campers by providing an organized program that offers a variety of enrichment classes for all campers, creating opportunities to demonstrate creativity, a personal challenge and providing campers a safe place where they can be themselves and grow!

OUR CORE VALUES

  • We challenge our campers to think outside of the box while participating in our camps. We teach our campers that to be creative is to use your imagination and keeping an open mind to different possibilities. We believe that being creative increases a person’s ability to problem-solve and come up with new ideas.

  • Participating in enrichment programs are meant to be enjoyable activities. All of our classes involve hands on activities that are engaging yet challenging. We play games and give children the chance to win prizes for following our core values. Our goal is for our campers to leave our camp feeling fulfilled and with a smile on their face.

  • Safety is key when participating in any activity. From the first day of camp and all throughout each day, we remind our campers the importance of safety so that all campers can have an enjoyable experience at our camp.

  • We strive to ensure that our campers acquire new knowledge or skills while at our camps through observation, instruction, experience and practice. We believe in the importance of sharing our knowledge and skills to pass onto our future leaders.
